BROADWAY MARKET

The Broadway Market is considered the gateway to the historic Fell’s Point District of Baltimore. The new addition of the Market was designed to recreate this public gateway, incorporate new fast food and dining areas, and reconfigure the interior portion of the existing market. The renovation was executed in the same vocabulary and scale as the existing market building and featured new entrances and canopies, skylights at floors, upgraded plumbing, and provision of new exterior signage.

The Market houses vendors of food such as meat and fish markets, produce and cheese stands, as well as small eateries. There are also stands that sell packaged foods and groceries. Prevas Restaurant utilizes the front portion of the Market and provides a comfortable space for patrons to relax and enjoy a meal.

The Broadway Market won the American Institute of Architects, Baltimore Chapter Award for Design Excellence.
