The owners of a prominent property in Timonium challenged the firm to design their 19,000 + SF dream home, complete with a four-car attached garage, a three-car detached garage, and a 1,500+ SF wood shop where the owner can pursue his avocation of woodcrafts. The home also features a great room with a soaring 25’ vaulted ceiling, six fireplaces, and sweeping views of the property. Two of the owners’ main concerns are natural light and adequate space. We produced numerous sun studies of the house and property to aid in orienting the house to maximize the amount of natural light.
