PAROLE M&T BANK MODERNIZATION

One of the busiest branches in the M&T banking system, the building is one of the older First Federal Savings & Loan prototype buildings that went into service in 1975. M&T sought to transition the tired structure visually and functionally into a 21st century banking operation consistent with its national rebranding campaign. The contextual agenda included presenting a higher standard for the aging shopping center that hosts its pad site.

The renovation added 1,125 SF of additional banking space and was carried out while the bank remained fully operational, relegating more invasive procedures to "after hours". That included the construction of the addition as well as the removal and the replacement of the roof, and the reconfiguration of all spaces within the building except for the upgraded teller line.
