VAMC OFFICE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING 71

Penza Bailey Architects is demolishing Hampton VA Medical Center’s Building 71 and designing a new 25,000 SF administration building in its footprint. Multiple user groups within building require careful coordination with VA to gather space planning needs and adjacencies including FF&E requirements. Extensive programming and space planning concept phasing and carefully coordinated CID and SID package are provided. Plan includes: open work space areas, private offices, conference room, break rooms, and support spaces; new elevators; building security with access control; heavy acoustical security requirements with site and sound separation; IT/Telecommunication infrastructure integration; and extensive design and coordination for exterior envelope systems.
