As part of the Downtown Partnership’s Facade Improvement Program (FIP), the firm provided renovation plans for Kawasaki, the well-known Japanese restaurant on Historic North Charles Street. In appreciation for our efforts, the firm was recognized with an award at the Downtown Partnership’s 2003 Annual Meeting. The FIP has proved quite successful in improving the storefronts of local businesses and stimulating other nearby businesses to do the same. This pro bono effort was exciting and rewarding, especially when you see the “before” and “after” views of the renewed commercial businesses.
