Law Office Expansion

Penza Bailey was asked to design the renovations of an expanding law office in a four story existing building. The project included improving the aesthetics of the entrance, improving the visibility of the reception area from the entrance lobby, renovating the entire lower level of the office, and creating a monumental stair to connect the two levels of the office. PBA responded with a design that used glass extensively to create transparency and to give a more updated appearance to the previously stodgy offices. A suspended steel and glass canopy was proposed at the entrance to replace the outdated canvas awning, a new glass entrance system leading into the office suite from the lobby provided much stronger visibility to the office suite, and a new communicating stair was proposed to visually and functionally connect the two floor levels.
