Our Architects have many passions, including genealogy.
It all started when Paulina Beeche created a genealogical tree for her family and became enamored with the creative process. Many years later, she has created numerous trees for friends, colleagues and even for surprise presents. The process takes a while, it asks a lot from the people on the receiving end and there is a lot of information to dig up. But once she has a sense of how many people to include and how they are related, it takes about three drafts to get it right. Then, once the composition is pleasing, she grabs her quill and starts drawing. "It is a nice way to remember your ‘roots’ when you are so far away, and the notion of where we come from is only a couple of generations from being forgotten," explains Paulina.
