Penza Bailey Architects is honored to be the Architect for this new facility. Construction on the new Roberta's House, a Baltimore family grief support and community center, is taking shape. The center is intended to provide a safe place and resource in the community to promote recovery and healing from loss. PBA worked closely with the client to develop a building program, schematic design, and later architectural designs, specific to support the organization’s mission and to facilitate an array of services.
Roberta’s House is a safe place where children, teens and adults discover that they are not alone in their grief. Children with their families share their feelings, memories and experiences in an atmosphere of acceptance with the love and support of trained volunteers.
