On January 29th, Jeff Penza, President of the Davis Boyd Memorial Foundation (DBMF), exceeded his goal of skiing 35,000 vertical feet in 1 day in Sun Valley, Idaho (achieved 36,833!). The "Higher Ground Challenge" was part of a fundraiser for the International Skiing Fellowship of Rotarians - ISFR and DBMF. Higher Ground focuses on using sports as a means of healing, therapy, and rehabilitation for wounded warrior veterans.
