Located within the historic commercial center of Dundalk, one of Maryland's earliest shopping centers, M&T Bank acquired a former competitor and undertook another of its area-wide rebranding initiatives. Architecturally, the process began by completely gutting the commercial tenant space. Shallow plenum space presented a challenge to the installation of new environmental systems, lighting and sprinklers. The end result is a branch bank that not only operates more efficiently, but one that far more environmentally comfortable and energy efficient.
