Meridian Square features approximately 60,000 saleable square feet in a 4-story building with an enduring modern design. The ground floor of the building is designed to provide service/retail uses with direct access from on-street parking along Stevens Forest Road, the West elevation. The upper floors provide “Class A” office space that has its primary entrance from the building’s parking lot, the East elevation.
The development team has taken the major step of designing Meridian Square as the first GREEN office condominium building in Howard County. The project has completed initial registration with the US Green Building Council and will require comprehensive design and operations information in order to complete its final designation as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) building. Key features were incorporated into the design of Meridian Square in order to achieve high-performance energy and environment management standards. Penza Bailey Architects was Associate Architect to Model Architects and provided construction documents for Meridian Square.
