Through an Architect of the Capitol On-call contact, PBA provided A&E services for a new 5,000 square foot, pre-engineered metal storage building used for the storage of hardscape material and maintenance equipment. The site is located on 2 acres of the USBG Production Facility in Washington D.C. Site improvements included the re-grading of the area around the storage building to provide two rain gardens; new asphalt re-paving and new pervious asphalt access road; two 1000-gallon cisterns were used to collect rainwater from the downspouts. Photovoltaic panels were integrated on southwest side of building to provide interior LED lighting.
