GSA – HHH & U.S. TAX COURT ELEVATOR MODERNIZATION

Penza Bailey Architects provided interior design and architectural services for multiple elevator modernizations within two separate historic federal facilities, the Hubert H. Humphrey building and the U.S. Tax Court. As part of a Design-Build team with IMEC, PBA focused specifically on material selections and details to comply with historic requirements, budget and phasing schedule.

The U.S. Tax Court included four passenger elevators, one freight elevator, one dumbwaiter, including elevator equipment room and was approximately 2000 SF. The Hubert H. Humphrey building included one freight elevator including elevator equipment room and was approximately 1000 SF.
