The new maintenance facility for the Water and Sewer Department was designed in two phases and sited within an existing County maintenance yard. Under Phase 1, the new facility would be constructed first. Once occupied and operational, the second phase renovation of the existing maintenance facility would proceed.

The Water and Sewer building includes multiple trades shops for truck service and garage maintenance bays, small and large parts equipment storage areas, equipment maintenance shops, maintenance dispatch bullpen, plans room, engineering offices, technician area, welding shops, locker rooms and shower rooms administration office space.

Harford County DPW Capital Projects reports, "The guys love their new facilities."
